Rylan brings a rare combination of legal practice and eDiscovery expertise to his role at Sandline Global. A former practising attorney admitted in the High Court of South Africa, he transitioned into legal technology with a clear understanding of the pressures and expectations that matter most to lawyers — not just as a service provider, but as someone who has sat on the other side of the table. Over four years in the industry, he has built strong relationships across the UK and Irish legal markets, partnering with UK Top 20 and top 5 Irish law firms to deliver end-to-end eDiscovery and language support services on complex, high-stakes matters.

Rylan believes that the best client outcomes in eDiscovery are built on trust, not transactions. He places equal value on his relationships with private practice and in-house lawyers, recognising that the two communities are deeply interconnected — and that a well-nurtured network across both creates better outcomes for everyone involved. Based in London, he works across the full spectrum of the UK and Irish legal markets, from global law firms and litigation boutiques to in-house legal and compliance teams at corporates and financial institutions. His approach is straightforward: invest in the relationship first, understand the pressures a client is genuinely facing, and let the work speak for itself.

Outside of work, Rylan has a deep appreciation for the natural world — whether that’s out on the water deep sea fishing, on the fairway, or on safari. He is a proud stepfather to two boys, and brings the same patience, commitment, and enthusiasm to family life that he does to building lasting relationships with his clients.
