Our Team.

Spencer is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Sandline, where he leads the company’s accounting, finance, and administrative functions. With more than a decade of experience spanning public accounting, life sciences, healthcare, and digital health, Spencer has built a track record of scaling finance organizations in dynamic, high-growth environments and guiding businesses through complex M&A activity.

Prior to Sandline, Spencer served as Controller at CoreLife, Inc., where he oversaw the accounting and finance function and provided financial reporting across multiple joint venture partnerships in Maryland and North Carolina. Before CoreLife, he was Director-Controller at Vault Health, where he played a central role in the $70MM sale of Vault Workforce Screening – a business acquired two years earlier for $8MM, representing a 7.75x return for shareholders. At Vault, Spencer built the in-house accounting organization from the ground up through a period of rapid revenue growth, led the company through its first PCAOB audit, implemented technology solutions to support a more efficient close process, and led the accounting diligence and integration for the company’s first acquisition. Earlier in his career, Spencer held progressive accounting roles at REGENXBIO and began his career in audit at Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office.

Spencer is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
